This module is a converter from RS232 (standard COM port on PC) to RS422 or RS485 (switchable) without galvanic isolation. The main application is the possibility to communicate with RS422 or RS485 peripheral devices via the serial standard interface (RS232) of PCs. The main feature is the high flexibility with easy handling and configurability for different operating situations. This module has a 9-pin DSub female connector on the RS232 side, which can be plugged directly into the RS-232 (COM port) connector of a PC, for example. On the RS422/RS485 side there is a 9-pin D-Sub connector.
